Dr. Roshonda Jones received her B.S. in Applied Mathematics at North Carolina A&T State University and her PhD in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at UNC Charlotte. She continued training as a postdoc fellow at the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital Los Angeles in the area of childhood obesity where she studied how early introduction of sugars disrupted the developing microbiome of infants. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, exploring new cities, running and spending time with family.
